Alpe Adria Ultra Trail Summer
The Alpe Adria Ultra Trail Summer will take place in Valbruna on Saturday 20 June 2026. You can run between 10 and 48 kilometers.
Race Details:
- Alpe Adria Saisera Summer Trail: 10.2 km, 423 D+, Beginner. Features a loop around Val Saisera and the Great War Museum. Suitable for hikers and dogs. No exposed sections.
- Alpe Adria Pellarini Trail: 19.3 km, 1308 D+, Intermediate. Similar to the 2025 route, fast and not overly technical, with a challenging climb and runnable descent. No exposed sections.
- Alpe Adria Jof Trail: 27 km, 2100 D+, Advanced. Requires a medical certificate for Italians. Features a steep 6 km climb with over 1900m of elevation gain, some sections requiring hands and feet. A wild, extreme, and panoramic race facing Montasio. Technical mountain environment. Maximum 100 participants.
- Alpe Adria Ultra Jof: 48 km, 3900 D+, Advanced. Requires a medical certificate for Italians. Combines the Jof Trail and Pellarini Trail routes, covering Val Saisera and Val Dogna, embracing the Montasio massif. Maximum 100 participants.
Hospitality:
Accommodation is available in shared dormitories ('foresteria') and hostels near the start/finish line. Shuttle service is available from the finish to the start, as parking in Dogna is difficult.
Competitive vs. Non-Competitive:
Non-competitive races have an order of arrival but no official ranking and can be run in a recreational spirit. Competitive races require a medical certificate due to the demanding nature of the courses.
