Event Details
This is a Healthy Heart! Healthy Mind Event! Hosted by Colonial Sports at the Meadows.
The easy 8K and relaxed 4K run/walk start and finish at the zero mile mark on the Virginia Capital Trail.
8K Run/Walk: Starts at 10 AM, chip-timed, all participants receive a custom long-sleeve race shirt. The first 300 finishers receive a die-cast finisher medal. Race awards for top three men and women overall and in various age categories.
4K Run/Walk: Starts at 9:55 AM, chip-timed, all participants receive a custom long-sleeve race shirt. The first 200 finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Awards for top finishers in each category.
All finishers receive post-race refreshments including a slice of pizza and Alewerks Beer for those of legal drinking age. Join us in our goal to donate 10,000 lbs of food to the local food bank by bringing non-perishable food items!
