8th Annual Red, White & Blue 5K Run/Walk
Presented by United Bank, this event at Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach, SC on July 3, 2026, is a fantastic way to celebrate America! Participants are encouraged to dress in red, white, and blue, and even in costume for Independence Day!
Races Available:
- Red, White, and Blue 5K Run/Walk: A timed event for runners and walkers. Starts at 7:00 am.
- Uncle Sam's 1 Mile Walk: An untimed event for a leisurely stroll. Starts at 7:30 am.
- Stars and Stripes Kids' Dash: A free, untimed 50-yard dash for children. Starts at 8:05 am.
Important Race Information:
- Accessibility: Service animals and mobility aids recognized by the ADA are permitted. Participants with these must inform staff at bib pickup and start at the back.
- Prohibited Items: Animals (except service animals), baby joggers, strollers, skateboards, roller blades, and unauthorized bicycles are not permitted on the course.
- Course Amenities: No water stop on the course.
Race Swag:
- 5K and 1 Mile Walk: Participant Shirt (while supplies last) and Participant Medal.
- Kids' Dash: Finisher gift, with an option to purchase a t-shirt.
- All participants receive a Race Bib.
Registration:
- Online registration only.
- Registration closes Friday, July 3 at 5:00 am.
- The Stars and Stripes Dash is free but requires online registration.
Packet Pickup:
- Thursday, July 2: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Native Sons (1519 Executive Avenue, MB 29577).
- Friday, July 3: 6:00 AM - 6:45 AM in the grassy area beside Crooked Hammock.
Logistics:
- Parking: Available at Crooked Hammock/Greg Norman’s and surrounding lots in Barefoot Landing.
- Restrooms: Public restrooms are available across from Taco Mundo and beside the sand courts at Lulu's.
Awards:
- 5K Run: Overall Male/Female (1st, 2nd, 3rd place), Overall Masters Male/Female (1st place), and Age Groups Male/Female (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) for various age brackets.
- No awards for the 1 Mile Walk or Kids' Dash.
