7TH PRESIDENT 7K RUN
Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage is proud to host the 3rd annual 7th President 7k, a unique course set on the property that the nation’s 7th president once called home. The 7k will take runners across paved pathways and fields as they take in the rolling hills and landscape of The Hermitage property. Runners will get the chance to see Tulip Grove Mansion, the home of Rachel Jackson’s nephew, as well as the Hermitage Church, completed in 1824 as a place for the neighborhood to worship. The race will end at The Hermitage Mansion, the crown jewel of the property. This race will also feature a 2-mile walking course, perfect for those who want to see this historic property.
Important Notes:
- This event is not chip-timed but will have a rolling time clock.
- This is a cross-country course with fields, grass, a small amount of trail, and road.
- Strollers are not recommended.
- Dogs are not allowed on the 7k course.
