The 7th Annual Historic Hillsborough Half Marathon and 5K races are set for October 6, 2024. Both routes highlight the town's charm and historic landmarks.

- Half Marathon Registration - Distance: 21.1 km (13.1 Miles) - Prices: $60.00 - $70.00 - $80.00
- 5K Registration - Distance: 5 km (3.1 Miles) - Prices: $30.00 - $35.00 - $40.00
- Half Marathon No Shirt - Distance: 21.1 km (13.1 Miles) - Prices: $50.00 - $60.00 - $70.00
- 5K No Shirt - Distance: 5 km (3.1 Miles) - Prices: $20.00 - $25.00 - $30.00
Course Highlights
- Run past historic sites including Old Orange County Courthouse and Burwell School.
- One lap of Historic Occoneechee Speedway Trail, the only surviving track from NASCAR's inaugural season.
- Enjoy running on Churton Street and Hillsborough's River Walk, part of the Mountains to Sea Trail.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up is available on:
- Thursday, October 3rd, at Fleet Feet Durham, 4-7 PM.
- Saturday, October 5th, at the Farmers Market Pavilion, 1-5 PM.
- Race morning, October 6th, from 5:30-6:30 AM.
