47th Annual Mike Sterling 10k Race / 5k Race / 10k Ruck
Join us for the 47th Annual Mike Sterling 10k Race / 5k Race / 10k Ruck, held in Crisfield, MD, during the annual National Hard Crab Derby. The race will begin and end at the Crisfield City Dock at the end of Rt. 413.
Runners, walkers, and ruckers will enjoy a fast, flat course that meanders through the City of Crisfield as well as the neighborhoods and along the waterfront outskirts. Water stops will be provided at three locations along our route. THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE!!! NO REFUNDS AS ALL PROCEEDS GO TO SUPPORT THE CRISFIELD AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
Pricing: Prices increase from $25 to $35 on Monday, August 31, 2025 and to $40 on race day, September 5, 2025.
T-shirt Guarantee: Everyone who registers on or before August 1, 2025 will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Packet Pickup: Friday, September 4, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wellington Beach.
Ruck Details: The 10k ruck has a 20-pound weight and starts at 7:00 a.m. It follows the same course as the 10k race.
Important Note: While we still wholeheartedly welcome participants who prefer to walk, there will no longer be a separate walking race. All participants are encouraged to take part in the 10k or 5k Race, regardless of their preferred pace.
