24h Mad Chicken Run
Are you crazy enough for the Mad Chicken Run? Welcome to Hänchen, on the edge of the Spreewald region – a paradise for cyclists, paddlers, skaters, and runners. Even Prince Pückler found it great here and left his mark with the nearby Pückler Park, which houses Europe's only two grave pyramids.
But what no one has brought to the region yet is a 24-hour ultra-run. And with the option to run it 100% as a trail! Are you a crazy chicken and like to run in circles for 24 hours? Then we have something for you. The seventh 24h Mad Chicken Run started on: 19.9.2026 at 10 AM
Participants can expect a 2-kilometer course, either as a flat forest and bike path or as a pure trail on the motocross track of MSC Hänchen e.V.! The Cross Arena itself offers enough space for you and your entourage to retreat or relax off the track. If you've discovered everything, the nearby Spreewald, Tierpark Cottbus, and Pückler Park offer many more opportunities to spend the day while your running hero is on their journey.
Event Variants:
All runs are offered as Normal or Cross. This must be determined by the participant at the latest when picking up the starting documents. You are welcome to indicate your decision under remarks now. Thank you.
- 24h Solo: The discipline for real heroes: You run at least 30 laps in 24 hours. Show your ultra-qualities here!
- 42 / 22 / 10 km Run: Do you like standard or have you always wanted to let off steam on a real cross-country course? Then you are exactly right here.
- 2km-Kids-Run: The youngest want to participate too? No problem. The proceeds from the Kids Run are donated 100% to a social institution.
- 24h 5er-Team: 24 hours alone is too long for you? Then start as a team. There are no specifications for gender or age in the team composition. The only condition: you must be five people.
- 6h 3er-Team: Just want to try it out? You run as a trio, but only for six hours. No specifications for gender or age – the main thing is three people.
