24 Hours on the Trails
Set entirely within the stunning Leighton Hall estate in the Silverdale and Arnside Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is going to be epic! The event will be run in the same way as all of our other events - family-friendly, welcoming, inclusive and fun! ...but expect some stiff competition if you want to cover the furthest distance!
We're going to let you be as flexible as you like with prizes up for grabs for those who travel the furthest, as well as spend the most time on their feet! Want to see how far you go by yourself? Run for as long as you can with your bestie or other half as a tag team? Enjoy the camaraderie of taking on turns with a group of friends or work colleagues? You'll be able to do that. Want to just run a lap or two and enjoy supporting everyone else - good choice!
The rules of the event are simple - run (or walk) when you want, for as long as you want over the 24 hours. However far you're planning, there's nothing stopping you from running that one extra lap so long as you're on the start line at 12pm!
There'll be plenty of things to occupy you when you're not running too. The course is 5.75km long and we'll alternate the direction you run it in to avoid dizziness and to give you some variety.
Entry Options:
- Individual: Run as long as you want. Minimum Age: 18.
- Pairs: Tag team with a partner. Minimum Age: 18.
- Teams: Gather a group (3-12 people) and take turns. Minimum Age: 16.
