10th Annual Shamrock 10K / 5K
Join StartLine Racing for a March tradition in the valley! The 10th Annual Shamrock 10K / 5K event will be taking place on March 15th at Kiwanis Park in Tempe.
Chase the Leprechaun!
The 5K distance will feature a 'Chase the Leprechaun' for 2026! A leprechaun will be set loose on the course for all of our participants to find. Any participant to pass the leprechaun and finish the race will receive a prize at the finish line. No additional registration required. Open to all 5K participants.
Mail-in and Virtual Registration
To register by mail, please complete and return the Mail-in Registration Form. Make checks payable to StartLine Racing. Mail-in registrations will be accepted until March 9, 2026.
Virtual Run Details: If you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal and the shirt. All prices include shipping! Items will not be mailed out until after the event on March 15, 2026. Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. For international participation, contact StartLine Racing at [email protected].

- Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups for the 10K and 5K distances (Race Day Participants only). Age groups: 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
- Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
- Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App

Race Day Information
Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 6:30 am at Kiwanis Park. We accept cash and credit cards on race day (checks are no longer accepted). Race day registration fees: 10K - $55, 5K - $50.
No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses. Leashed pets are friendly. Wheelchairs, strollers & wagons are welcome. This event will take place rain or shine. No refunds due to weather.

Packet Pick-up Opportunities
Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Road Runner Sports in Tempe (map). Road Runner Sports is located at 43 S McClintock Drive, Tempe, AZ 85281. You can also pick up your packet on race day starting at 6:30 am.
