The 2026 Grandma's Marathon Weekend Races are scheduled for June 19-20, 2026, in Duluth, Minnesota. Please note that entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be deferred to another year.

Early registration for Grandma's Marathon or the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon before October 1st offers a chance to support the Young Athletes Foundation (YAF). For $500, participants secure a spot and contribute to youth athletic programs.
Young Athletes Foundation (YAF)
The YAF, established in 1990, promotes healthy and active lifestyles for youth in northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. It has donated over $1.8 million to community youth athletic, recreational, and nonprofit organizations, funding free kids running events, scholarships, a running shoe program, and grants.

The fair market value (FMV) of the race entry is estimated at $155 for the full marathon and $145 for the half marathon. Accordingly, $345 (full) and $355 (half) of each contribution is tax-deductible.
Corporate Team Challenge
Companies can participate in the Corporate Team Challenge by registering teams for Grandma’s Marathon, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, or the William A. Irvin 5K. Any for-profit or non-profit corporation or municipality is eligible. All full- and part-time employees registered for these races can participate. Non-employees are not eligible.
How to Register for Corporate Teams:
- A Team Captain must create the team first. This feature is available before race registration launch on October 1.
- Team Captains select "Create Grandma’s Marathon Corporate Team", "Create Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon Corporate Team", OR "Create William A. Irvin 5K Corporate Team".
- Team Captains name the team and submit payment.
- Team members and captains officially register for their chosen race starting at 7 p.m. on October 1.
- Team members select "Yes, add to an existing team" and choose the team name provided by the Team Captain.
- There is no fee to join a team, only to create one.
