2026 Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day Charity Fundraiser
For 46 years, The Community Fund of Darien has brought the community together for the annual Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day. This beloved fall event features two races—a 1.5-mile Timed Run/Walk and a 5-mile Timed Race —plus family-friendly activities under a big tent. Every dollar raised supports our neighbors in Stamford, Norwalk, and Darien with basic needs. Since 1951 (75 years!), The Community Fund of Darien has granted nearly $30,000,000 to help provide our neighbors access to food, housing, physical and mental healthcare, employment skills, youth success programs, and emergency services. Your support improves the lives of our neighbors through grants to a network of over 30 vital, nonprofit health and human services organizations. Together, we can strengthen our community!
How to participate:
- REGISTER TO RUN! Challenge yourself with a 5-mile Timed Race or the 1.5-mile Timed Run/Walk. Aim to beat your personal best or enjoy a leisurely jog along the scenic route! Every step you take supports our neighbors. Thank you for running with purpose! Parking in and around Pear Tree Point Beach is limited. We encourage carpooling, biking, and walking!
- REGISTER TO WALK! Take a stroll for a stronger community. Enjoy a walk around the loop or gather a group of friends to join you. It’s the perfect opportunity to chat and catch up while doing good. Bring the family – strollers are always welcome!
- COME HANG OUT AT THE FAMILY ACTIVITY TENT! No registration necessary! Come cheer on and support the runners and walkers by joining us at the event. Enjoy family-friendly fun and activities under the tent. Your presence supports the cause and brings even more heart to race day.
