18th Annual Pauly Friedman 5K Family Walk / Run
Race Location: Sidney and Pauline Friedman JCC, 613 S.J. Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704
Registration Fee: $25 per person. A FREE noncompetitive fun run for children ages 10 and under plus a Family Fun Day will be held that day. Visit us at www.facebook.com/fsanepa for more info!
Registration: Day of registration will be from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. Registration will be $30 the day of the race.
Awards: Medals will be awarded to overall Male and Female runners. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with best overall times in eight age categories: 15 & Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up. Medals will be awarded for first place overall Male and Female walkers. Medals will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place walkers.
About Pauly Friedman: Pauly Friedman was a Board Member at Family Service Association of NEPA (FSA). She served as Board Chair from 1988 through 1990 and organized the first fundraiser for FSA in modern history. Pauly also formed the Friends Committee, the volunteering fundraising arm of FSA. The Walk/Run is in memory of Pauly and her commitment to families. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit PA 211 NE/Help Line, Pauly's favorite program at FSA.
